Vogelbescherming Nederland (VBN) aims, through its focus on birds, to help conserve biodiversity and maintain the quality of life on earth. Across the Netherlands and globally, birds and their habitats are threatened; biodiversity and ecosystem services are at risk and previously common species have declined dramatically. VBN is active at national and international levels (with Birdlife International), working with governments and communities to find solutions that are good for both birds and people.
