Is WaterBear a fully free streaming service?

Membership to the platform is and will always remain free. At WaterBear, we think being inspired by different stories and perspectives should be available to all. Therefore, we offer all of our films for free. No need to worry about a subscription starting automatically, because we don’t even ask for your bank details. Happy watching!

Why do I have to make an account?

We ask our members to make an account with their Google, Apple ID, Facebook or you can access with your email and make a new password. This enables you to save films that you might want to watch later and improve your user experience on our platform.

What happens to my data?

The data we collect from our members is solely used to provide you with the best experience of our services. With our contact information, we can keep you up to date on our latest films and series - in case you don't want to be kept in the loop you can opt out at any time. User data makes it easier for us to suggest other films you might like.

How can I submit an idea or suggestion for a documentary?

We love when our members suggest new content to us! For any content suggestions, please keep in touch with content@waterbear.com. They will review your suggestion and get back to you as soon as possible. For any other queries, please contact info@waterbear.com.

Are there subtitles available?

One of our priorities at WaterBear is to make sure our content is accessible to all. Hence we are working hard behind the scenes to offer subtitle tracks for all films in different languages. When available, you can find the subtitle icon on the bottom right corner next to the sound icon of a film or series you are watching. Bear with us as we keep improving your experience!
