These indestructible little creatures – also known as water bears – can live in volcanoes, under the sea, in subzero temperatures – even in Space. There’s almost nothing that can destroy them – but the same can’t be said for our species.
The climate crisis is impacting communities the world over. But rather than focusing on the ways humans destroy the planet, we tell the stories of those fighting to protect it. From Indigenous wisdom and circular living to guerilla gardening, there’s a place on WaterBear for every kind of action.

In June 2024, we closed a £10 million Series A capital raise.
With our network of over 150 NGO and brand partners, and 2 million-strong community in 170 countries, we’re already sharing truly inspiring and changemaking content.

How to invest – step-by-step
- Create an account on Seedrs.com/waterbear. Once you’ve logged in, go to the Home Page, click ‘Invest’ on the top menu, then ‘Raising Now’. Find WaterBear in the list and click. You’ll see a menu bar above the pitch information. Click on Documents and follow the instructions to verify your identity.
- Read through our growth plans (also available at the bottom of this page) and when you’re ready, click Invest.
- You’ll be taken to a new page. Ensure you read the Investment Agreement and information about investment risks.Type in the amount you want to invest, and check the boxes to show you’ve read the required information.
- Click ‘Proceed to Payment’. You’ll be shown a few payment methods, so pick your preferred one and click ‘Pay’. You may have to authorize the payment with your bank. This can usually be done through your banking app. Once you’ve completed this step, you should be redirected back to the Seedrs.com site.
That’s it – it really is that easy!
Now you’ve invested, you can track the company’s progress on Seedrs, and you’ll receive email updates.
