The international Aegean Film Festival is an annual summer
meeting point for filmmakers, audiences and artists to
celebrate the finest independent cinema and storytelling.
Every year our friends and audiences return to spend
together 14 inspiring days. Acclaimed directors present their
work next to the sandy coasts or at the purpose built cinemas
we set up in the cobbled streets of the islands.

Award winning film and documentary premiers, seminars,
storytelling workshops, art exhibitions, parallel events
combining fine dining and cinema, our environmental
conference and summer parties complete the unique
experience the Aegean Film Festival has created over the
past 10 years.

The festival is under the auspices and support of Unesco,
Ministry of Culture, Greek National Tourism Organisation,
municipalities of the islands, European Union Regional
Development Fund, Region of South Aegean, Greek and
international media organisations and a loyal team of “festival
nomads” and friends.
