IUCN NL is the Dutch national committee for the International Union for Conservation of Nature, the world’s largest and most diverse environmental network. IUCN's bank of member organisations is composed of more than 1400 government and civil society organisations. IUCN harnesses their experience, reach and resources, while benefiting from the input of more than 15,000 experts. IUCN is the global authority on the natural world’s status and the measures needed to safeguard it. IUCN NL is a platform of the 38 Dutch IUCN member organisations, including nature and environmental organisations of all sizes, the Dutch Government and academic institutions.

IUCN NL collaborates with and supports local organisations in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Together with other IUCN member organisations, we safeguard nature and biodiversity in these regions. Together we develop international collaborative programmes and secure funds from different donors.
